1. Overview

At Acts Video, LLC, we prioritize the privacy and security of our clients’ personal and professional information. Operating in Texas as of March 28, 2025, we provide premium videography services to real estate professionals, business leaders, and creators of unique projects, grounded in trust and transparency. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your data while ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal laws, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. By engaging our services, you consent to these practices, designed to safeguard both you and Acts Video, LLC.

  1. Information Collection and Use

We collect essential details to deliver tailored videography services, including: Contact Information: Name, email address, and phone number for bookings and communication. Payment Information: Billing details are processed via Shopify Payments for your $100 deposit and final payments. Project Details: Property details, branding assets, or other specifics you provide for production (e.g., real estate listings, corporate needs).
This data is used exclusively to schedule appointments, execute projects, communicate with you via Google Workspace (Gmail), and ensure your vision is captured seamlessly. We may engage trusted subcontractors or secure third-party platforms (e.g., Google Workspace for storage, Shopify for payments) to process footage, all of which are bound by confidentiality agreements. We do not share your data otherwise unless required by law.

  1. Data Security and Retention

We implement industry-standard encryption and secure storage to protect your personal and project data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse: Digital files and client info are housed on encrypted servers (e.g., Google Workspace with 2 TB capacity, Shopify’s systems). Physical materials, if any, are kept in a controlled, secure setting. Data is retained only as long as needed to fulfill our obligations or comply with Texas legal requirements (typically 1 year post-project), after which it is securely destroyed.

This approach safeguards your privacy and shields Acts Video, LLC, from data-related risks.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may disclose your data to: Service Providers: Google Workspace (email/storage), Shopify (payment processing), and Framer (website hosting), all under strict confidentiality terms. Legal Authorities: If mandated by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to: Access your personal data we hold. Request corrections or deletion (e.g., email us to remove your info post-project). Opt out of non-essential communications (we currently don’t send marketing emails).

Contact us at jerry@actsvideo.com to exercise these rights.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Our website, hosted on Framer, uses cookies for basic analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to track visits and improve functionality. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting service delivery.

7. Third-Party Links

Our site includes links to Shopify for payments and Google Drive for file delivery (if used). These third-party services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you interact with them.

8. Force Majeure and Uncontrollable Events

We are not liable for data-related delays or breaches due to extraordinary events beyond our control, such as acts of God, natural disasters, or government mandates. This ensures both parties are protected from unforeseen disruptions common in Texas.

9. Policy Updates and Client Notification

We reserve the right to update this policy as our business evolves or laws change. Revisions will be posted on our website and communicated to active clients via email (jerry@actsvideo.com) or project correspondence, keeping you informed of how your data is handled.

10. Contact and Dispute Resolution

For inquiries, data updates, or concerns, reach us at jerry@actsvideo.com. Disputes will be resolved promptly and amicably, governed by Texas law, with mediation or arbitration in Bexar County, Texas (or your business’s county) before legal action. This ensures fair resolutions tailored to our professional relationship.
